Portfolio Administrator – Egyptian Equities

Responsibilities:

Due to the dynamic nature of the position, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily reconciliation of accounts
  • Daily posting of transactions
  • Correspondence with administrators, brokers and custodians
  • Production of daily investment manager reports
  • Compilation of daily news items
  • Updating of portfolio management system (GIM II)
  • NAV verification and approval
  • Review of interim and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly client reports
  • Preparation of adhoc reports

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years experience in portfolio administration/accounting
  • Undergraduate degree or higher a must
  • Experience in calculating portfolio performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to function as part of a team
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive and resilient
  • Experience with GIMII or other portfolio management systems is a plus
